Angular contact ball bearings' inner and outer ring raceways can displace relatively on the horizontal axis in order to accommodate combined loads (axial& radial). Axial load carrying capacity of these bearings increase when the ball contact angle increases. They are generally used in high speed, high precision applications such as; spindle motors, electric motors, pumps, turbines, air compressors, etc.
